In 2007, Paula was offered a role in the ABC series “Women’s Murder Club” in which she landed a lead role alongside Laura Harris, Angie Harmon and Aubrey Dollar. She played “Claire” ,the medical examiner in the show. This character is based on the novel series of the same name written by James Patterson, but it only aired for one season. After these short-lived projects, she returned to doing guest roles, appearing in “Parenthood”, “FlashForward”, “Castle”, and “The New Adventures of Old Christine”.
Paula gained a lot of attention when she worked alongside Viola Davis in “How to Get Away with Murder”, with her performance she gained popularity and a lot of positive reviews.
